The exhibition ‘Creation of a Moment’ regards a medium that is familiar to many – the photograph. The artists presented seem to challenge our understanding of what a photograph could be within the realm of contemporary art. The curated works provide a starting point to examine topics such as what constitutes art in photography? What are some of the content, theory, techniques and perspectives utilized by contemporary artists? How are the themes and subject relevant to us today? The collection comprises of thirty-one international and national artists that give us a look at this dynamic art form.
